Ambient light

We love writing headlines for our blog posts. My first internship in college was as a news copy editor, and coming up with headlines was my fave. Finding the handful of words that sums up a story – it’s like cracking a code. There is no phrase more suited to sum up Paige and David than Ambient Light. ABUNDANT ambient light! These two could not have been more present and exuberant at their Chatham wedding, just steps from Paige’s family’s Cape Cod home. This celebration was literally dealt a blow in the wee hours of the day when the remnants of Hurricane Dorian took down the most enormous tent we’ve ever shot in. Thanks to the efforts of Emmy at EWhitney Events, the show went on.
Our shoot began at the couple’s chilly and drizzly clambake rehearsal, and the last of the clouds parted about an hour before the ceremony – shining warm sunlight on friends and family. The service was bookended by bagpipes and a mariachi band, and guests were treated the BEST wedding cakes of the year hands-down from the popular Milk Bar. Thanks for including us, FitzPop – many congrats!
