Somebody to Love
There are so many incredible venues to photograph in Washington, DC – we’ve had the privilege of working at many of them – but this one has always been one of our favs. Having the opportunity to document a Hay Adams DC wedding is seriously special; the juxtaposition of the historic, classic structure with the beautiful Lafayette Park grounds RIGHT across the street gives couples and photographers alike much to explore.
Take Amanda & Jordan for example. Before their wedding ceremony, this couple took a stroll through the park toward the White House, which ultimately resulted in one of my favorite pictures to date (right above this text). This photo is only possible via the Top of the Hay, with its panoramic vistas of the District. Such a unique space, and we can’t thank Amanda & Jordan enough for asking us to be a part of it.
