The Great Outdoors

There is no better way to describe this couple than with the word “Gratitude.” Mariah and Devon were married at a much-loved and impeccably-cared-for venue in Bennington, Vermont. They were truly present during their Henry House Vermont wedding, and didn’t let a minute slip by unnoticed.
We were delighted to see the return of two wedding traditions that have fallen off the radar in past years: the cake smash and the receiving line. We see most couples forgo the receiving line because it “takes up too much time”. But what better way to spend time than greeting, hugging and introducing guests to your new spouse. We think it’s a warm and efficient way to help a group of folks congeal, (for lack of a better word!) And the cake smash. This went away, and peeks its head out from time to time. We encourage all couples to shun vanity, and play with your food. Your guests and photographers will thank you.
Congrats to Mariah and Devon – thank you for sharing your positive energy with us 🙂
