Can’t Hardly Wait

We thought weddings would not happen this year. COULD not happen. All couples this year have been faced with both sacrifice and opportunity. I remember back in April thinking, “At least we will be in the clear in Fall!” Every sentence about 2020 can begin with “we never imagined that …”. What happened this year will shape the wedding landscape for good. While it has been exceedingly tough, and in some cases devastating, for event-industry creatives, we have enjoyed the silver lining of imagination. As journalists, we are inspired by the lack of a script and formula. Everything was shiny and new, and for storytellers, all the redirects 2020 handed over resulted in a visual time capsule.
Hannah and Josh originally looked forward to a November 2020 event, but actually moved their date a up a bit in order to shape their day into a much smaller, Covid-conscious SRV Boston wedding celebration. This venue was truly the perfect spot for an intimate event, a phenomenon which we now are calling a “Microwedding”! Congrats to these two, the latest Mr. and Mrs. whom we will remember in this amazing Class of 2020. 🙂
